Cloud hunting & December sunsets | Diary #05

Yesterday was magical. I won’t write much, because I want to include in the post as many photos as possible.

At 3.30PM my mom suddenly asked me if I wanted to climb up the hill next to our house and go see the sunset from up there. It was a beautiful sunny day and we were sure the sky was going to be so colourful when the sun set. I agreed, forgetting I had (still have) so much to study for uni. At the end of the day, I believe you just have to take the chances you’re given, even if it’s just about going out to sit on a bench to stare at the sky for a while.

It was freezing cold, and we definitely got there too early, so we had to wait around for some good 45 minutes. It was worth, though. When the sun started to go down, the sky turned yellow, then gold, then pink and red. It looked absolutely incredible.

All the photos have no filter. I don’t think it’s needed, although they’ll never do justice to how pretty it really was up there 🙂
